Help us deliver Christmas to over 500 kids in the Bushwick United Headstart program!

Capicu Cultural Showcase is hosting a pre-holiday mixer and art showcase for professionals at the EvilOlivE Pizza Bar! Every year, putting together our annual Pa'L Pueblo charity is our very first step in bringing our own families together in the Christmas spirit of giving. It's a huge undertaking, trying to raise the funds to buy toys for over 500 local children, but are committed to the fullest and we have been blessed with a generous community that has helped us reach our goals for these kids each and every year!  

We're asking our supporters to join us for a special mixer event on Friday November 22nd at the original Casa Capicu- 'The EvilolivE Pizza Bar' to enjoy an assortment of specialty goodies like the Bustelo-Infused cupcakes by Brooklyn-based Latina baker Kookies Treats, and a healthier spin on the time honored traditions provided by Flaco Coquito! This mixer will feature the best of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Old School Hip Hop along with classic holiday aguinaldos. Rumor has it that there will be a domino table open to our guests... I wonder who will be the first to make a Capicu slam? 

Special performance by comedian Roman Suarez aka The #FunnyLatino and the GooFFellas!

Proceeds for this event will support our Pa'L Pueblo Charity Toy Drive - a full-featured performance event that will take place in December. Let's set off our holiday season as a community! We are also accepting donations on unwrapped toys for 3-5 year olds (please no toys that promote violence)
